Hello and welcome!  I'm so glad you're here!  So, you're buying a sofa?  Great. It's an exciting purchase to make and its an item you'll probably have for several years.  So, no pressure, but there's a lot to think about before handing over the credit card!

The good news is that I've put together a checklist of most of the points you should think about before even hitting the shops, including questions about function, design and logistics.

As Julius Caesar once said, an hour of preparation is worth five in the battle (or words to that effect!) meaning, if you plan it out properly, you avoid expensive errors and save so much time and stress in the process.

(Please note that these are for ready-made sofas.  Custom sofas involve a lot more decisions which is fun and exciting but also needs even more careful consideration.)
